Dave has over 30 years of experience in education. He began his career as a high school science teacher and taught biology and anatomy and physiology. Before he left the classroom, Dave earned his National Board Certification in Adolescent/Young Adult Science Teaching. Dave then spent 15 years as a science curriculum specialist at an ESC before he served as a curriculum director in a city school district. He has been the Director of Curriculum for the Midwest Region ESC for the past four years.

His diverse career path has allowed Dave to gain experience in all subjects and areas of teaching. He has trained formative assessment professional development for over 10 years and also is knowledgeable in technology integration in the classroom. Dave has presented at many national, state and regional conferences and has done professional development across the state of Ohio.
