In many ways, gifted students are “just like” other kids: they love to play; they have diverse interests; and they have unique personalities.  However, gifted students — especially the highly gifted — have unique social-emotional needs that, until recently, both researchers and educators have often inadvertently overlooked.  In this module, we will explore gifted students’ unique social-emotional needs and will strategize ways to meet those students’ unique needs.
